The 52-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum raised eyebrows last week when she uploaded an image showing her face seemingly marred by odd swellings.
Some eagle-eyed medical buffs speculated it could be the work of a roving parasite beneath her skin. But the reality star pinned the blame squarely on stress.

Yet, the celeb wasn’t just angling for snaps; she confessed her gnashers were giving her grief, emphatically requesting, “I need to eat, give me teeth!”
This new post had followers doing a double-take, as many struggled to match the woman in the hat with the Brandi they know. Comments poured in ranging from shock — “That looks absolutely nothing like Brandi… what the hell happened? ” — to confusion — “I’m sorry, is Brandi in the room with us? ” Some offered praise for her rapid transformation, while others concluded she looked completely unrecognisable, reports the Mirror.
The backstory to Brandi’s recent pic saga includes a dismissal of any feud with ‘Botched’ surgeon Terry Dubrow, who rather dramatically described Brandi’s visage as resembling a “ticking time bomb”.
Brandi took to social media to address her recent health scare, stating: “I have zero drama with @DrDubrow, I appreciate all the help I can get. We have been in touch and plan to talk,” she added, “Thank you for all of the love.”
The reality star also shared that she’s had all her facial fillers dissolved and has sought medical advice from top doctors at Cedars Sinai hospital and other recommended physicians. This comes after Botched surgeon Dr Dubrow expressed his concerns about Brandi’s claim that a ‘parasite’ might be causing her facial disfigurement.
The 66-year-old plastic surgeon, married to Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather, described the situation as a ‘ticking time bomb,’ urging Brandi to seek immediate medical attention. He emphasised the importance of a clear diagnosis to treat the root problem and expressed his concern that t2he Drinking and Tweeting star could be suffering from an ‘infectious process’ or a ‘foreign-body reaction to something she’s had injected’.
Dubrow clarified that Brandi isn’t to blame for the uncertainty surrounding her condition, instead pointing the finger at her doctor for not providing a solid diagnosis and treatment plan.
Pointing the finger at her former Real Housewives bosses for her mysterious health woes, Brandy took to social media with a snap of her swollen visage, captioning: “I’ve been in and out of the hospital this passed year and 1/2… spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some doctors say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress induced edema. I personally say it’s Bravo.”
