Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle could be set for a ‘secret love child twist’, according to fans
Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, could be in for a shock as fans predict a secret love child storyline.
The character has been a fixture in the Dales since 2008 and quickly became a fan favourite. Aaron has had his fair share of dramatic storylines, from affairs and his romance with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to time spent in prison.
Recently, the plot took a dark turn when Aaron, haunted by his own past abuse, attacked paedophile Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), believing he had killed him.
He confided in his boyfriend John Sugden (Oliver Fainworth), who helped him cover up the crime. However, it was later revealed that Anthony’s estranged daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly) was the real killer, much to Aaron’s relief.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, viewers have been speculating that newcomer Dylan, played by Fred Kettle, could be Aaron Dingle’s secret son. Dylan was recently introduced as the homeless friend of April Windsor, played by Amelia Flanagan, who had been missing for months, reports Leicestershire Live.
Now, fans believe that Dylan may have a significant connection to the village, with Aaron potentially being his biological father. One fan commented: “I’ve been thinking the soap could easily retcon a few things and introduce someone as Aaron’s long-lost kid. I’m surprised they haven’t done it before.”
Others agreed, with one adding: “You’re right they could. It would definitely be interesting! He’s been with women before.” Another fan suggested: “I thought maybe the homeless lad April was hanging out with? ” while another echoed: “Oh yes Dylan! You might be onto something.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
