Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley have kept silent on her his apparent kiss with his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins, but it now appears that the pair have held crisis talks
Danny Jones and wife Georgia Horsley have reportedly held ‘crisis talks’ after the McFly singer was seen apparently kissing Love Islander Maura Higgins.
Jones’ wife of 11 years was said to be feeling “humiliated” after news spread of his alleged “drunken’ kiss” with Maura, which was captured on camera at a BRITs after party.
The McFly frontman, 38, and the former Love Island bombshell, 34, who both braved the jungle last year, were both seen at the O2 Arena in London for the star-studded event on Saturday night. They were later seen leaving an after-bash together.
The duo rubbed shoulders with celebs like Sam Thompson, Pete Wicks, Olivia Attwood, Calum Scott, and Oti Mabuse at the bash. Although Danny rocked up to the awards with his bandmate Tom Fletcher, he flew solo from his McFly crew at the swanky afterparty where he and Maura were reportedly seen kissing.
And now The Sun has claimed that the pair have held talks and just want to “move on”.
A source said: “This saga has been embarrassing and Danny had a lot of explaining to do. Danny and Georgia have been together for a long time and have spoken about that night.
“They are keen to just move past it and get on with their lives. They’ve been away for a few days and they are focused on being a family unit. Danny and Georgia are both committed to each other and are moving on with their lives.”
Horsley had been scheduled to appear in public on Saturday with her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host and friend Kelsey Parker at the Baby Show at London’s Excel, but she has now pulled out of the event.
Both Danny and Maura have remained quiet on the matter, without any statement released from either party as of yet.
On Monday, Georgia broke her silence since the controversy during a new episode of her podcast – but stayed away from any mention of Danny. She delved into motherhood, their recent house move, and even their Aussie adventure to see Danny in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, all without dropping his name.
