Kanye West’s strange behaviour has been concerning fans for a while, but that has reached new levels now he has worn an black KKK outfit in his latest interview appearance
Kanye West has gone a step further with his controversial actions, after he appeared wearing a black KKK outfit for an interview, weeks after posting swastikas on social media and appearing to make his wife go virtually nude on the red carpet.
The musician has been causing a lot of upset with antisemitic rants on social media and trying to start feuds online, but has now shockingly appeared in an all-black KKK outfit on camera for an interview. Kanye donned the black Ku Klux Klan robes for an interview with internet personality DJ Akademiks.
He was seen wearing a black leather outfit topped off with the unmistakeable pointed hood made famous by the KKK. He also started the interview wearing a t-shirt designed by the equally controversial Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, with a swastika medallion necklace.
Kanye has worn the necklace previously. He claimed the shocking outfit had been custom made for him, along with a second one in white.
He seemed to acknowledge how inappropriate and problematic the outfit was, when he was asked if he had worn it out in public. He said he had wanted to wear it the day before, but said he feared people would “put me in a hospital for my outfit”.
He has been slammed for wearing the costume, with one person writing: “This dude just needs to go away.” Another added: “I would’ve ended the interview right there, an absolute clown.”
A third quoted one of West’s own songs, saying: “That’s enough Mr West, please no more today.” “Oh look… someone wants attention again,” added another.
In a since-deleted post, West hinted at some new artwork which looked scarily similar to the logo of the SS. He also appeared in a Super Bowl advert, to tell people to go to his store where he was selling T-shirts branded with a swastika on.
He also shared an Instagram post featuring someone wearing a white version of the Ku Klux Klan outfit, and he added the caption “outfit of the day”. Instagram removed the post, saying it had violated their community guidelines.
Kanye also appeared on Alex Jones’s show Infowars, where he claimed he “likes Hitler”. He added: “We’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”
He defended his use of the swastika symbol on some artwork, by writing: “WHATS MORE HATEFUL THE CONTENT OR USING THE SWASTIKA SYMBOL THAT ORIGINALLY MEANT WELL BEING.” It comes weeks after Kanye told Kim in a chilling text: “You’re going to have to kill me”, after she was upset him using North West for a song.
