EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity Big Brother contestant JoJo Siwa is reportedly “losing trust” in close pal Chris Hughes after a number of tell-tale signs indicate she is taking a step back
Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa is “losing trust” in Chris Hughes.
The reality stars entered the CBB house and became close after the former Love Islander defended Siwa from co-star Mickey Rourke. The pair are now joined at the hip and are often seen affectionately hugging and complimenting each other but recent episodes have shown Chris admitting he would kiss JoJo and asking her to lick chocolate off his shorts.
On behalf of Casino.co.uk, body language expert Inbaal Honigman spoke to Daily Star about JoJo’s changing attitude toward Chris after observing them in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
She said: “JoJo’s reluctance to even lightly touch Chris’s knee when they sit close together now shows that she’s lost the trust that she had in him as a friend.”
Inbaal claims that “nonverbal cues show that JoJo’s trust in Chris has declined” and that she appears to be taking a step back. In recent episodes, JoJo reminded Chris that she is “not his girlfriend” and turned down his offer to eat tinned spaghetti “like Lady and the Tramp”.
She even quipped: “Sucks to be you,” after Chris said he “probably would” kiss her.
Inbaal noted: “Footage from previous days shows Chris and JoJo snuggled up together in the diary room, they were much more comfortable with physical touch previously.”
“Curled up with their megaphones, we saw them with their hands intertwined, Chris’s knee on JoJo’s lap. They embraced like two friends who trust each other, and both felt safe in that embrace, their defences were down.”
Inbaal pointed out that Chris’ body language “is more dominant that JoJo’s” and during that particular moment “he placed his leg over hers, his arm over her shoulders”.
However, the she noticed that “this is very different to how their body language relates to each other now.”
She continued: “Back when Chris came to check on JoJo after Mickey’s slur, Chris kept a respectful distance from JoJo and didn’t sit by her until she made it clear that he was welcome to. He then sat at a slight distance, making a point not to touch her until they hugged as he comforted her.”
“Since then they’ve gotten very close, hugging often, but this closeness is gone and the friendship is different,” Inbaal explained. She said that JoJo now “places physical space between them”.
