Rebekah Vardy appeared on Loose Women today to talk about how life has been since her feud with Coleen Rooney, which was dubbed “Wagatha Christie”.
Last year, Coleen accused Rebekah’s Instagram account of leaking stories about her to the press, something Rebekah denies.
She explained that she had been at the receiving end of some horrific trolling, with one commenter even wishing death upon her then-unborn child.
Breaking down in tears, Rebekah said: “It was – sorry – really, really hard. It’s probably up there with one of the worst things I’ve had to deal with, apart from being abused by my step dad when I was younger.”

She said: “It was hideous. It was horrible. I don’t think I was prepared for what was to come.”
The new mum added: “I had severe anxiety attacks. I ended up in hospital three times. I had kidney stones.
“I felt I couldn’t go out without people questioning, ‘Did she do it? Did she not do it?'”
Rebekah and Coleen are currently dealing with the situation via their lawyers, meaning the brunette couldn’t talk too much about the actual incident today.

But she explained: “It just kind of escalated really, and it was not great.
“I have to be really careful about what I say at the minute, but the trolling was the worst part for me and my family.”
Despite the awful attention, Rebekah is not backing down and wants to draw light on trolling and how severe it can be.

She said: “If you do something like that and don’t do anything about it – I did, I went the police and several arrests were made – you let them win.
“The more we highlight this is happening, and it’s serious, the more chance we have of doing something good about it.”
Rebekah, who is married to footballer Jamie Vardy, said her husband didn’t have a good time with it either.

She said: “He really struggled seeing my upset, seeing me down. Yeah, it was a hard time.”
But she’s looking towards a brighter future, after welcoming her fifth child – baby Olivia.
Rebakah said: “It’s a new year, 2020, time to focus on some exciting things that are happening – a new baby, and baby’s need healthy mums.”
