BBC weather woman Sam Fraser was left blushing today after an odd sex remark appeared in the subtitles.
During her forecast a technical glitch appeared in the subtitles which claimed she had said “sex” mid weather discussion.
The star, who is also a stand-up comedian, took to her Twitter account after her stint to poke fun and make light of the awkward situation.
She shared a picture of a TV screen which showed her on the show today in a tight red dress as she gave today’s news while standing in front of an image of the south of England.

The subtitles which appeared read: “Seven becoming northwesterly for the sex later.
“Visibility is good.”
Alongside it, Sam tweeted herself: “I’m almost positive that’s not what I said…,” followed by two emojis laughing hysterically.
Her 3,134 followers also saw the funny side in the glitch and rushed to tweet her back.
One wrote: “Lool I saw that.”

A man who’s Twitter handle goes by the name Pete Coates tweeted back and said he used to work on the BBC’s subtitles.
He wrote: “If you saw how it was done you’d understand the error. Subtitling BBC local news was my full time job from 2004-5 – quite possibly the most non-transferable skill you could ever learn.”
Pete continued: “It’s voice recognition. My job was to watch the live programme and repeat every word (plus speak the punctuation) into a microphone which then converted it into text.
“This is why the error always sounds like what it was supposed to.”
Back in August a similar thing left viewers in hysterics when BBC weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker suffered a mic blunder live on air.
The weatherman accidentally delivered a chunk of the news without realising he wasn’t mic’d up and viewers couldn’t hear him.
Smiling to camera, he he said: “Ooo live on air and I’ve forgot to put my mic on. Anyway. Crikey.”
