An Australian boy has been filmed gobbling down two flies after they landed on his face during a live interview on television.
The boy and his family were explaining their struggle at facing drought problems in Australia for years on Channel 10’s The Project on Tuesday night.
In footage going viral on Twitter, a fly lands near the boy’s mouth while the family is standing in front of a wet paddock.
Fear to disturb the interview, the boy stays calm and does not move an inch while the bug is crawling on his face.
Instead, he sticks his tongue out and swallows the fly in seconds.

Unfortunately, the mishap happens again when a second fly lands on his cheek. He has no choice but to do the chameleon trick again.
Viewers could not believe their eyes and burst into laughter as they shared the clip onto Reddit.
One joked and praised the boy, saying: “When you’re in a drought, flies can be an important source of protein.”

While another one was surprised by the insect’s move and asked: “How is it that flies can dodge a fast-moving hand but they can’t dodge a slow-moving tongue?
The family mentions how the recent rainfall was impacting on them in rural communities.
Though some rejoiced when they greeted the rain, some Australians were at risk of fatal flash floods and landslides.
Quentin Grafton, a water expert and economics professor at the Australian National University in Canberra, said that while the rain showers helped stop the deadly bushfires that have been plaguing different parts of the country for months, it is hard to know if it replenished the dry inland areas, which have been facing a three-year-long drought since the water was not distributed evenly across all affected areas.
He told Metro: “At this stage, it’s very good news, and certainly much more than people could have wished for or expected.
“There are some very happy people.”
