Caroline Flack lover Lewis Burton says 'I'll get answers' and slams court no-contact ban

Caroline Flack’s emotional boyfriend wants to “get answers” after the 40-year-old took her own life in her east London home on Saturday February 15.

In a heartfelt post, uploaded in the early hours of Sunday morning, Lewis Burton slammed the CPS for banning the couple from contacting and seeing each other prior to Flack’s trial on March 4.

“My heart is broken we had something so special,” he wrote.

“I am so lost for words I am in so much pain I miss you so much I know you felt safe with me you always said I don’t think about anything else when I am with you and I was not allowed to be there this time I kept asking and asking.

“I will be your voice baby I promise I will ask all the questions you wanted and I will get all the answers nothing will bring you back but I will try to make you proud every day.

“I love you with all my heart.”

Burton had previously repeatedly discussed their no-contact ban with Caroline, and his wish for the case to be dropped.

According to The Sun, the former Love Island host was informed on Friday the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) were continuing with the assault trial – despite Lewis Burton not wanting to press charges.

Flack pleaded not guilty to common assault at her court hearing on 23 December following an alleged altercation with Mr Burton at her north London home earlier that month.

Following Caroline’s passing, her management team citicised the Crown Prosecution Service for pressing ahead with what it called her “show trial” even after her boyfriend said he did not support it.

“The Crown Prosecution Service pursued this when they knew not only how very vulnerable Caroline was but also that the alleged victim did not support the prosecution and had disputed the CPS version of events.

“The CPS should look at themselves today and how they pursued a show trial that was not only without merit but not in the public interest. And ultimately resulted in significant distress to Caroline.”
