Love Island star Maura Higgins lost out in tonight’s skate-off on Dancing on Ice to fellow celebrity Libby Clegg.
The reality star, 28, put on an impressive performance on tonight’s show but did suffer a minor stumble during her performance.
Maura looked visibly emotional as she took to the ice for the tense skate-off, clearly keen to keep her place in the competition.
And the judging panel – made up of Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were completely divided in their final decision about who should stay and who should go.

Ashley and John were up first to deliver their verdicts, and both opted to save Maura and Alexander Demetriou due to the “emotional” performance they delivered.
Jayne however disagreed with her fellow judges, and opted to keep Paralympian Libby and her professional skating partner Mark Hanretty in the competition.
This meant Head Judge Christopher had the casting vote, and he sided with his professional skating partner Jayne, seeing Maura eliminated from the competition.

Holly Willoughby comforted Maura and said it was the “closest skate-off” yet.
Maura admitted she was gutted as she “really wanted it”.
Viewers flocked to Twitter to say how much they’ll miss the former ring girl.
One fan remarked: “I’m absolutely gutted for Maura and Alex.”
While another continued: “Gutted to see you leave Dancing on Ice.
“Proud of you on how much you have gained confidence and skating on the ice.”
A third added: “Well done Maura Higgins you did us proud !! Enjoy your first lie in in months.”
Dancing on Ice returns next Sunday at 6pm on ITV
