Sir Elton John trousered £65million from his tour this year – even though it was scrapped.
The Rocketman had to abandon his Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour in March because of coronavirus.
But he has still been named the highest-earning live performer on the planet.
A friend of Sir Elton said: “He is in great shape, has been enjoying time with his family and can’t wait to get back out on the road when it is safe.”
Sir Elton, 73, bagged £14m more than his nearest rival Celine Dion.
Despite Covid-19 ravaging the live music industry, many big names still managed to rake in the cash.
American rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra were third on the list with £44m.

U2 made £40m, while British rockers Queen earned £34m, according to Pollstar magazine.
Sir Rod Stewart and Lewis Capaldi managed to bag £13m and £2.7m respectively.
Comedian Jack White-hall earned £4m from his tour before it was shelved, which meant he was paid more than veteran folk giant Bob Dylan.
Pollstar said the virus has cost the industry £22.6bn in ticket sales.

As well as a tour, Elton has raked in some serious cash from his autobiography, Me.
The Candle In The Wind hitmaker dedicated a chapter to his frenemy Sir Rod Stewart, 75, where he addresses their spat.
Their rivalry was reignited two years ago after Rod described Elton’s farewell tour as “dishonesty”, adding that it “stinks of selling tickets”.
Speaking on a US talk show, Rod said that he would never announce his own retirement because it was not very “rock and roll”.
In response, a furious Elton wrote in his book: “I certainly didn’t feel like I needed a lecture on the feral spirit of rock and roll from someone who’d spent most of the last decade crooning his way through the Great American Songbook and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”
“What’s more, I thought he had a f***ing cheek, complaining about me promoting a tour while he was sat on a TV show promoting his own tour.”
Rod responded: “(Elton) doesn’t like me at the moment. I was bang out of order. Correct, but bang out of order.”
