Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter appeared on Loose Women on Tuesday, discussing her upcoming storylines on the soap as Chas Dingle’s relationship with Paddy starts to crumble.
However, before discussing the juicy plotline, presenter Andrea McLean shared some snaps from Lucy’s career as a pop star, which began in the 90s.
The soap star, 43, was a member of the girl band Paperdolls, who toured with Boyzone before splitting and going their separate ways.
In the clips, Lucy – who has played Chas in the dales for the past 18 years – could be seen strutting to the camera in a red minidress, flanked by two songstresses.
The trio were best known for their pop track “Gonna Make You Blush,” but their career didn’t stand the test of time.
Andrea exclaimed; “I didn’t know you had a pop career!”
Laughing over the found footage, Lucy then recalled: “It was the best time, three girls on the road in their early 20s.”
Lucy opened up about her pop career once before, telling Woman magazine it was a “great time” in a 2017 interview.
She said: “I was once in a pop band supporting Boyzone. It was back in the late 90s and we were called Paperdolls.
“It was a laugh. We went from thinking we were just a few girls getting together and doing a few songs, to getting signed by a record label and touring.
“It was a great time.”
The pop star revelation comes as Emmerdale fans fear for the fate of one of the dales’ most beloved couples.
Recent scenes have seen Chas flirt with businessman Al Chapman, clearly dissatisfied by her relationship with Paddy.
Emmerdale spoilers have revealed the couple will have an almighty clash in upcoming scenes, as Paddy confronts her about the indiscretion.
Teasing the explosive storyline, Lucy said Chas hasn’t “strayed,” but added that she might need her “ego stroking”.

She added: “It’s not going to be plain sailing, definitely not this week.
“Maybe something will be done to her that it makes her kind of think about what she’s done to Paddy.”
Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
