Former TOWIE star Gemma Collins has thanked an “incredible” group of doctors as her parents battle coronavirus.
The reality TV star, 39, revealed earlier this week both her parents Alan and Joan are “extremely unwell” with Covid-19.
On Boxing Day, she shared a number of pictures from inside a hospital and wrote: “Dr Angus Ehien and his team are just incredible.
“Thank you to the wonderful nurses and doctors at Queen’s Hospital.”
On Tuesday, the GC urged people to “take notice of the guidelines” as she revealed her parents had fallen ill with the virus.
She said: “Seeing my dad cry which he never does! Was a shock and say he would rather be dead then experience everything he is going through right now… this has totally wiped him out and it’s heartbreaking.

“My mum also is extremely extremely unwell with Covid also, this is real!
“And please, please take notice and keep your loved ones safe, it really is petrifying.
“What a difference a year makes …. stay home! stay safe! save lives without your health! You got nothing!”

Taking to social media, Gemma confirmed her dad was in hospital earlier this week, and shared a photo of herself holding his hand.
Gemma wrote on Twitter on Wednesday night: “I’m so scared right now.
“My dad is so unwell I have never seen anything like this in my lifetime,” adding a broken heart emoji.

The star went on: “ Covid is so scary laying next to my dad holding his hand right now.
“I am showing you this to create awareness of how real Covid is.”
Fans have been showing their support for the star, one fan wrote: “Blessing and prays with your parents for full recovery.”
