Alex Beresford called out Charlotte Hawkins during Christmas Eve’s edition of Good Morning Britain leaving his co-host red-faced.
The weatherman turned presenter couldn’t resist taking a cheeky jab during Thursday’s show after she sent a show running to fetch her a snack with very specific demands.
As GMB returned from a short advert break on Thursday morning, Alex let slip Charlotte had sent a runner to get her a banana to keep her going through the show.
But rather than accepting any banana available, Charlotte said she would only accept it if it was at a certain type of ripeness.

Smirking, Alex branded the blonde babe a “diva” before she tried to explain.
Charlotte explained: “I said I would love a banana but only if there is a nice banana available.
“I don’t want a bruised one or one that has gone to brown but I don’t mind a green one.”
As Alex mocked Charlotte once more, she hit back: “You think I am a diva?
“It is only about bananas.
“I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.”
Later on in the programme, Charlotte was played to see many of the shows viewers supported her request.
She continued: “At this point I would like to thank you for the support.
“Thank you very much. You can have all the brown bananas.”
Holding up the fruit, she tease: “This is the perfect banana.”

Laughing Alex chimed in: “It is too green and you know it.”
But while she may have won the support of the nation with her demands, comedian Al Murray accused her of being ‘a bit odd’ during a live interview.
Keen to playfully stick the boot into his co-star, Alex asked the Pub Landlord what he made of the situation.
Laughing, Al replied: “It is slightly weird.. you are bit odd – let just put it out there.”
