Gogglebox stars Pete and Sophie Sandiford’s dazzling collection of mugs been a talking point on the show for years, becoming a familiar fixture of the series each Friday night.
The siblings, who live in Blackpool, have drunk tea from everything from alien-shaped beakers to personalised mugs with lettering on the front.
Each week, viewers from home have taken to social media to gush over their impressive mug collection, wondering where to shop the homewares for themselves.
And now, their prayers have been answered, as Pete and Sophie revealed exactly where they source their unique collection of teacups.
Ahead of the Christmas break, one fan was eager to get to the bottom of it, taking to Twitter to ask the siblings: “@PeteandSophie @Petesandiford my girlfriend loves your mugs where do you get them from?!?”

Pete, 26 was quick to reply, revealing: “@asda mate.”
Another fan, who had already done some research, added: “They’re all from asda, started collecting myself.”
Earlier this year, a second viewer wrote: “I’m Definetly going to Asda sometime once lockdown as finished to Sophie and Petes amazing mugs.”

While a third chimed: “Not gonna lie but if @PeteandSophie and @Petesandiford don’t have a sponsorship deal with the mug aisle of Asda soon then I don’t even know what life is. #Gogglebox.”
Sophie, 24, once confirmed their mum is responsible for tracking down some of the best mugs on the market, crediting her on a previous episode of Gogglebox.
The former window dresser also shared a glimpse of their mug collection, saying: “We’re going to need a bigger cupboard #mugjenga #dyawantabrew? @sandifordpete.”
One of the cupboards in their Blackpool home is filled to the brim with creative cups, shaped like woodland creatures, cartoon characters, and everything in-between.
Sophie admitted most of the mugs came from supermarket giant Asda but claimed they occasionally purchase cups from Amazon and a small homewares shop in London.
The comedy duo first joined the show in 2018, and have quickly become fan favourites thanks to their hilarious armchair reviews of the week in telly.
When they’re not filming, Pete works in insurance, while Sophie sadly lost her job in Debenhams earlier this year.
