Kanye West seems to have set his sights on the 2024 presidential race after current hopes of being president failed on election night.
After flaunting his ballot in a bizarre election day rant, the Gold Digger rapper took to Twitter again on election night seeming to say he would run again for the Oval Office in four years.
Sending a tweet to his 30.9million followers, Kim Kardashian’s husband wrote: “WELP KANYE 2024,” as he shared a photo of himself silhouetted against a map of the USA a short while after 12am EST.
It comes after results show he only currently has less than 0.2% of the vote.
He earlier told his followers that he was “voting for someone I trust” and then revealed that trustworthy person was in fact, himself.
He wrote: “God is so good.
“Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”
The controversial star later added: “KEEP BELIEVING KANYE 2020.”
He also showed off his ballot and shared a clip of him entering it to be processed.
The US star, who hails from Atlanta, Georgia, also posted snaps at the polling centre.
One saw him sporting an “I Voted” sticker while wearing a blue sweatshirt and black mask.
Kanye’s wife Kim meanwhile took to Twitter and Instagram to tell fans she’d voted before the results started rolling in.
The reality TV star and businesswoman shared a photo of herself in a sheer top as she held an ‘I Voted’ badge to her face and pouted.
Kim wrote: “I VOTED!!!! Did you?!?! If you are in line when the hours of operation close at the polls, they are required to stay open and allow you to vote, so do not get out of line.

Fans were keen to ask Kim who she voted for though as she gave nothing away.
One asked: “For Biden right ? Not Kanye.”
As another speculated: “She didn’t even vote for her own husband either so don’t worry.”
A third moaned: “You voted for your husband. It was a wasted vote.”
As a fourth said: “She voted for Biden I think.”
Fans were left confused though after Kim originally posted the photo in colour – showing her wearing a red top.
She later deleted and reposted it in black and white.
One fan said: “Not you reposting, we all know it was a red dress.”
While another added: “Wait why did u make it black and white?? You had a red shirt on, it’s okay.”
People in the US are still waiting find out whether Donald Trump or Joe Biden will be their next President.
Both are declaring victory is in their grasp and say they will take the crucial votes from the final few states where results have not been declared yet to get over the threshold of 270 Electoral College votes.
It appears it may be a few days before those final results are known and finalised however.
