Linda Lusardi terrified to get back skating for The Real Full Monty On Ice

Linda Lusardi says she is terrified to get back skating for ITV’s The Real Full Monty On Ice – 12 years after breaking her foot during Dancing On Ice.

But the ex-Page 3 girl says she has mustered up the courage to take part in the ITV show with Ashley Banjo, right, Coleen Nolan and Hayley Tamaddon.

Linda, 62, said: “I’ve always feared getting back on the ice. I broke a bone in my foot during training for Dancing on Ice before I even got to the live shows. I’m a lot older now and will take longer for me to mend.”

Linda and a string of other celebs will appear on the programme to raise awareness of cancer in intimate areas of the body.

The brave stars will recreate the iconic stripping scene from the cult film The Full Monty.

Linda’s turn on the show comes after her coronavirus battle in March this year.

The mum-of-two was left fighting for her life in hospital after contracting Covid-19.

Her husband Sam Kane, 62, said at the time that she was at “death’s door,” but the TV favourite is now fighting fit once more.

Linda Lusardi battled coronavirus earlier this year

Linda’s decision to take part in the show comes four years after she was told she had a 9.5cm tumour on the side of her womb which was discovered after an MRI scan.

Luckily, the tumour was determined to be non-life-threatening and she was later advised that it had been caused by hormonal changes.

Linda later underwent a full hysterectomy to stop the growth of the tumour.
