Love Island Nathan Massey's six-pack transformation after losing half a stone

Former Love Island star Nathan Massey has undergone a massive transformation after shedding half a stone.

The 29-year-old reality TV star, who is a dad-of-two, has taken to his official Instagram account to show off his transformation as he flaunted his new six-pack.

Showing off the fruits of his labour, he shared his newfound secrets with his thousands of followers while posting side-by-side before and after shots of himself.

In the first snap, Nathan could be seen standing to the side with longer hair and a less-muscly body.

And then on the right, he shared a current snap of himself flaunting his ripped figure.

Showing off his new look, Nathan recalled how he followed the MuscleFood’s Goal Getters diet.

He told how he followed high-intensity workouts alongside a low calorie and low-fat meal plan.

Nathan admitted that when he starred in Love Island he could eat whatever and whenever he wanted but as the years have gone by he said he’s struggled to keep the pounds from adding up.

He said on Instagram: “When I was in Love Island I could eat and drink anything and it didn’t really impact my body.”

Nathan continued: “As I’ve got older I can’t do that anymore – it all goes onto my love handles!

“While Cara was pregnant, she was craving fish burgers, which meant I was always doing the takeaway run. I couldn’t get her something and not get myself a cheeky cheeseburger.

“The main thing I loved about this plan with Goal Getters was that it didn’t feel like a diet. I was still eating chocolate bars, pizzas and burgers, but I was in calorie deficit.”

He said his new diet meant he could have porridge for breakfast, prepped pots for lunch and then recipe kits for dinner.

His wife Cara De La Hoyde usually does all the cooking but now Nathan makes his own food after embarking on his fitness journey.

He added: “Normally Cara does all the cooking, but I was making my own food in the evening.

“The recipes were simple to follow and only took 15 minutes to make. My favourite was the Levi Roots Chicken Skewers.

“I can’t believe how much this has impacted my mind-set too. I feel so positive and full of energy, I’m up for anything!”
