With nothing much to do but ‘chat’ and mug each other off, it’s no wonder tempers sometimes fray in the Love Island villa.
Throughout the ITV2 show’s six series, there have been some epic barneys with the lads squaring up to each other and the fur flying between the girls.
From dropping the c-bomb to branding each other ‘s**gs’ and ‘b***nds’, there’s been no shortage of drama.
One fight got so violent that producers had to swoop in and boot one of the warring girls out of the villa!
Here, the Daily Star looks back at Love Island’s most vicious bust-ups ever…
Kady McDermott v Malia Arkia – 2016
Malia hadn’t even unpacked her suitcase before she got ejected from the island after a violent row with Kady.
She’d only just arrived fresh from a surprise date with Kady’s man Scott Thomas when Kady accidentally spilled some of her wine onto Malia’s legs and feet.
“Did you do that deliberately?” a furious Malia asked before raging, “If you wanna speak to me, just come in there. You don’t do that with me, not at all.”

Defending herself, Kady insisted: “I swear to God, if you want to get rowdy… that’s a f****ng joke. Do you honestly think I’d waste my wine over you? It was a f**king accident.”
But Malia would not be silenced and snapped “Shut up you b***h. Who the f**k do you think you are?” before lunging towards Kady.
At which point security stepped in and Malia was thrown out.
Years later the beef is still brewing, with Malia branding Kady a ‘dumb little b****’ after she responded ‘who?’ to a fan who asked about Malia on Twitter.

“Oi u dumb little b**** do not sit there & try cuss me out on your instastory you low life,” Malia raged.
“You don’t know me & I hope u never bump into me again, u already snaked me once.
“U desperate little beg, ur neighbour even emailed me coz they hate you, giving me ur address.”
Kady sniped back, “Shut your noise hun the footies on.”
Amber Davis v Georgia Harrison – 2017
(Image: ITV)
Things got seriously nasty when newbie Georgia was forced to choose one of the coupled-up guys and went for Amber’s man, Kem Cetinay.
Unbeknown to Georgia, just that day Amber and Kem had become official boyfriend and girlfriend, leaving Amber fuming.
She refused to speak to Georgia, throwing a casual ‘b****nd’ over her shoulder before stomping off to the smoking area.
Determined to defend herself, Georgia reasoned: “There’s no need to feel any aggression of anger towards me. I’ve been here for 10 minutes. There’s no need to be rude to me… there’s no need to go so down my throat about it.”
Amber coldly replied, “I could have gone deeper babe.”
“So you’re just going to try and make me feel uncomfortable the whole time I’m here?” asked Georgia as Amber shrugged and offered an ominous, “We’ll see.”
Theo Cambell v Jonny Mitchell – 2017
In that very same high-octane recoupling, Theo squared up to Johnny after he called him a ‘gigantic b***nd’ in his speech.
Johnny was raging after Theo chose Tyler Carr, leaving him with no one he was interested in. Thankfully Amber had been left single (see above), but even so, he kicked royally off.
Standing up to take him down before being restrained by the other islanders, Theo fumed: “You’re a b****nd, dry your tears mate.”
Olivia Attwood v Montana Brown – 2017
Olivia was nicknamed ‘Hurricane Olivia’ on account of her liability to go off, and Montana felt the full force of her stormy wrath during a row about being confrontational – of all things.
Olivia asked Montana if she’d been ‘digging her out’ over an earlier confrontation with Sam Gowland, then accused Montana of getting ‘salty’ when she told Liv she should have had it out with Sam in private.
“To say I was confrontational, I don’t agree with that,” Liv countered, working herself up to a category five.
“What do you mean it was a bit too much? What kind of world do you lot live in? What do you mean ‘a calm situation’?
“You’re all f****ng me off now,” she screamed. “Who said I was confrontational? F***ing mug!”
Chris Hughes v Sam Gowland – 2017
Olivia wasn’t the only one with a hot head that year. Her original partner Sam Gowland was equally het up when he thought newcomer Chris Hughes was making a move on his missus.
Which he was.
Pulling Chris to one side, Sam accused him of being ‘snakey’ and ‘going behind my back.’
As Chris told him to tell him what he’d heard, the ‘chat’ escalated quickly and ended with the other lads running in to restrain Sam as he screamed: “I’m f****ng telling you!”
Laura Anderson v Megan Barton Hanson – 2018
Laura was bereft when former stripper Megan swooped in and made a beeline for her man, Wes Nelson.
Wes certainly didn’t put up a fight and jumped ship quicker than he could say “Could I be happier?”
And Laura was raging when she found out Megan had also tried to stick the lips on Wes while they were still together.
As Megan sat smirking while Wes did the dumping, a sassy Laura yelled across the villa: “Nice one Meg, cheers for telling me”, before calling her a ‘f****ng slag’.
It later emerged she was so hacked off that she ran away to the beach and spent the night chain-smoking a pack of 20.
Georgia Steel v Ellie Brown – 2018

Georgia waxed lyrical to anyone who would listen about how loyal she was after Josh Denzel dumped her for Kaz Crossley at the Casa Amor stage.
But it came back to bite her on the bum when it emerged she’d kissed Laura Anderson’s man Jack Fowler at a date – but denied it to Laura’s face.
Raging on Laura’s behalf, Ellie told Georgia she was speaking ‘bull***t’, and when G told her to ‘pipe down’, all hell broke loose and Ellie branded her a ‘f****ng ugly c***’.
