Maura Higgins has given a warning to her new beau, Chris Taylor, after the pair confirmed their romance following months of speculation.
The Irish bombshell embraced her lover as she shared the news that she and her co-Islander had decided to make their relationship official.
Sharing a picture of herself and Chris taken during a Dubai getaway, the pair leant in to kiss one another with Maura captioning her post: “He’s mine.”
Taking to his own social media, Chris shared the same snap alongside the caption: “Turns out I fell in love with my best mate.”

Chris, 29, and Maura, 30, first met during Love Island 2019 but their romance failed to spark in the idyllic villa and they continued to stay friends while Maura dated Curtis Pritchard.
Hairdresser Maura recently told The Sun that she was worried for her boyfriend after she went without somebody for six months due to the coronavirus lockdown.
“I 100 per cent feel the sexiest of my life,” she said.
She went on to add: “I’m getting sexy for my new man! Now I definitely feel like I’m ready to be with somebody.

“I’m 100 per cent single and ready to mingle.”
“God help the next man I meet. I’m not sure he’ll be able to put up with me,” Maura exclaimed.
The lovers, who both now live in Essex, had previously dismissed claims of a spark between the pair, insisting that they were just “the best of friends.”
During a recent question and answer with her social media followers, one fan was brave enough to ask about Chris, to which she replied: “This was the first question that came in and I’m not even a bit surprised.
“No, we’re not dating. We are the best of friends.
“We just get on really well. We got on really well in the villa, but not a lot of that was shown.”
