Maya Jama is said to have personally become a millionaire for the first time since splitting from superstar rapper Stormzy last year.
Thanks to a string of brand deals and endorsements, the BBC presenter, who left Radio 1 earlier this year, is said to have already raked in over £1 million via her company MIJ & Co.
According to The Sun, the business boasts £1.3 million in the bank.
An insider told the publication: “Maya has been grafting for years, honing her craft, but this year she’s really come into her own.
“After leaving Radio 1 in May she said she had exciting projects and she wasn’t wrong.
“Landing a presenting gig alongside Peter Crouch on his BBC primetime TV show Save Our Summer was massive, and it’s just the start.”

She’s also fronted campaigns for Cadbury and Peperami.
Maya started dating Stormzy before he shot to global success from 2015.
However, despite the Vosi Bop rapper insisting he thought they would marry, they called it quits in 2019.
It’s not clear exactly what happened for the romance to break-down but Stormzy says he did Maya wrong.
He’s also stated he never cheated but did disrespect her.

Speaking frankly about dating in the spotlight, Maya told Cosmopolitan UK magazine: “We met before it was in the public eye.
“It felt like a normal relationship, and then, ‘Oh sh**, everybody’s talking about us!’
“We did everything that normal couples do, it was [just] on a bigger scale.
“When we were together, we did make a point of not making it just about the relationship.
“We both had separate careers and tried to keep our work as separate as possible. I’ll always try and keep it that way.
“You do want to keep some stuff private because it’s your life.”
Insisting she isn’t going to do a big tell-all about the four year relationship, Maya added: “[People] will still make up their own assumptions and opinions but at least I know it’s not come from me, so hopefully the smart people can realise.”
