Nicola Roberts was crowned victorious on last night’s grand finale of The Masked Singer, beating Hedgehog Jason Manford and Octopus Katherine Jenkins.
The red-headed beauty delighted viewers with her exceptional vocal range, and she was a favourite to win early on.
When she finally removed her mask, after pipping Jason to the post, Nicola said: “I loved it,” before adding: “I mean guys, it’s piping hot in here.”
We have taken a look back at her glittering career from Popstars: The Rivals to The Masked Singer success.

Popstars: The Rivals
Nicola, 34, was catapulted into the public sphere when she appeared on one of the original television singing competitions, Popstars: The Rivals.
The Runcorn-born beauty wowed viewers and the judging panel alike with her incredible vocal abilities on the programme.
She was put into band Girls Aloud with Kimberly Walsh, Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, and Sarah Harding, after beating thousands of other hopefuls.
The premise of the programme was to put two rival bands against each other, who would compete against each other, in the hopes of bagging the Christmas number one spot.
Girls Aloud went head-to-head with boyband One True Voice, and nabbed the Christmas number one spot with track Sound of the Underground.

Chart success
The girlband then went on to achieve major chart success, scoring a record-breaking run with 20 consecutive UK and top 10 hits, including four number one smashes.
Nicola was the youngest in the band, and was just 17-years-old when she joined.
Girls Aloud announced their hiatus in 2009, after releasing five albums.
During the band’s break, Nicola brought out some solo music, releasing debut album Cinderella’s Eyes, which featured track Beat of my Drum.
Girls Aloud then reunited in 2012 and released single Something New, and brought out a greatest hits album.
Nicola and the rest of the girls toured the album, before calling it quits in 2013.
Other projects
In 2008, Nicola released her own makeup line – Dainty Doll – aimed at people with fair skin tones.
Nicola’s cosmetics brand relaunched in 2010, before being discontinued in 2013.
Nicola has also worked with MP Julie Morgan in a campaign to ban under 18s from using sunbeds.
She is set to appear in the new musical, City of Angels, alongside Vanessa Williams.
