Ranvir Singh looked flustered on Lorraine on Monday as Giovanni Pernice left her a very sweet message for her first day in her new hosting gig.
The broadcaster, who came fifth place on Strictly Come Dancing with her dance partner Giovanni last week, returned to ITV this week, though covering for Lorraine Kelly.
And to welcome her into her new job, Giovanni appeared via video link to wish Ranvir good luck on her first day back – and he was very complimentary.
Appearing in a grey robe with a cap on inside, he said: “My partner, what can I say?
“After smashing the dance floor she’s now sitting down in a chair presenting one of the biggest shows on TV, I’m so proud of you.”

He continued: “I’m really, really, really proud of you. You are just incredible.
“Best of luck. I’m sure everything will be fine. We know you can do your job and now you’re a dancer.”
The star then blew a kiss at the camera as he said: “Lots of love, bye darling.”
Dressed in a black and white silk wrap-around dress, Ranvir replied: “Oh bless his heart.
“Was it only me that noticed he wasn’t wearing anything under that?”

Looking flustered, she continued: “Anyway, never mind.”
Blowing a kiss back into the air, Ranvir said: “Thank you, beautiful Giovanni. What a nice boy he is.
“How lovely and we’re also going to be speaking to Bill Bailey a little bit later.”
In recent weeks, Ranvir and Giovanni’s intense and electric chemistry on the dance floor has led to ongoing speculation that their relationship could be more than just as dance partners on Strictly.
The pair have both denied that their relationship has turned romantic.
Before appearing on the show, Ranvir actually confessed that she would be open for the Strictly curse to hit her as she was currently single.
Giovanni also recently became single after he and Pussycat Dolls babe Ashley Roberts split up back in January, after they had danced together on Strictly previously.
