Super Bowl 2020 halftime show – how you can watch it in the UK

The Super Bowl 2020, also known as The Greatest Show on Earth, is just round the corner – with Latino stars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez teaming up for the halftime show this year.

Around 100 million people around the world tune in to watch the NFL season finale every year.

This time is the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers who will compete to be crowned champions.

As well as watching the showdown, people also tune in to watch its glamorous and star-studded halftime show.

The extravagant show brings together some the biggest names in the music industry to perform.

Previously it has drawn in major stars such as Beyonce, Coldplay and Janet Jackson.

What time can you watch the Super Bowl 2020 halftime show?

The Super Bowl itself will kick off at 11.30pm UK time on Sunday, February 2.

Before the game kicks off, Demi Lovato will perform the pre-game national anthem.

Meanwhile, the halftime show is expected to start around 1am, in the early hours of Monday morning, February 3.

The length of it varies depending on the artists, but the segment usually takes around 20-25 minutes.

How to watch the Super Bowl 2020 halftime show in the UK:

Those in the UK can watch the Super Bowl, and its halftime show, on BBC One and Sky Sports.
