On Tuesday evening’s episode of The Chase, Mark “The Beast” Labbett made a joke about player number three’s name.
The hopeful contestant in seat three was Peta-Kay from Romford, who was busy writing a book about self-help for single ladies.
She managed to collect £3,000 in her cash builder round, before The Beast came out to take her on and try and stop her winning any cash.
But before they started their head-to-head quiz, Mark couldn’t help but make a joke about her name, referencing comedian Peter Kay.
He told her: “I’ve cancelled your train home. With a name like yours, you’ve got to go home in a car share.”

Peta-Kay didn’t seem impressed, but made it through to the final chase after choosing to take the lower offer of just £1,000.
The writer became the second contestant in a row to take the lower offer, as Christine also decided to take a step closer to try and get back for the final chase.
It worked out well as all four contestants managed to get back with a respectable £11,000 in the pot.

But viewers at home were finding it difficult to look past the fact that two of them had taken the low offer, taking to Twitter in their droves to share their thoughts.
One said: “Imagine being on The Chase with two low offer takers.”
Another tweeted: “Taking the lower offer then encouraging somebody else to take the higher offer. Oh that’s cheeky that.”
A third wrote: “The two cowardly low offer ladies suggesting Matt goes high so they can sponge off more winnings.”
While someone else commented: “This show if full of low offer twits.”
In the end though, the team failed to make it past The Beast with their 13 steps ahead of him.
He beat them with plenty of time remaining, meaning they went home empty handed.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
