The Masked Singer judge Rita Ora opened up about her “workaholic” side in an interview with LOVE Magazine last month.
Rita, 29, travelled to the desert for the photoshoot, modelling a white cotton dress by Isabel Marant.
Photographed walking towards the camera, the Ritual hitmaker worked a pair of brown leather cowboy boots and wore her hair in a cropped style.
Styled by Oliver Volquardsen, LOVE’s newly appointed Fashion Director, Rita could be seen in a sequin and chiffon gown in another shot.
In a third, she tried on a pair of retro gold cowboy boots and a white ruffled minidress, kneeling down in a casual pose.
Interviewed by GQ’s Chief Content Officer, the Kosovan beauty opened up about her changing relationship with work, as she leaves her party lifestyle behind.
She said: “I’ve done so much partying, and I just felt the time was right to do something different for my birthday. So I thought, let’s go into the desert, let’s go for a hike, let’s breathe in some fresh air for a change.
“People see the workaholic, headstrong, thick-skinned twentysomething, but there’s another side to me, one that is vulnerable, sensitive and pretty emotional.”
Rita admitted she feels like she’s “growing up” in recent years, focusing on developing some exciting new music.
She added: “My music is what it is, and does what it does – thankfully – and I’ve never really had to show that side of myself professionally; in fact, I have purposely hidden it. But maybe I’m ready. Is this what growing up feels like?”
