This Morning viewers have been left furious that the ITV show seemingly didn’t follow the nation’s two-minute silence for Remembrance Day.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield invited viewers to be silent, before an announcer on the screen declared the end of the silence, and they spoke over the top of the mark of respect.
Viewers were raging, with one saying on Twitter: “You spoke over half the two-minute silence! I had to turn over to BBC as I thought my phone must be wrong. Not good!”
Another said: “How rude… how dare you talk over The Last Post? No respect whatsoever. You should be ashamed of yourselves.”

A third wrote: “This Morning cocked up two-minute silence. Not only did they have talking during the silence but then cut off the end of the silence to have a chat. Wow.”
Someone else tweeted: “Wow terrible attempt at the two minutes silence.”
A fifth commented: “Lest we forget… how to tell the time.”
While another added: “Well done This Morning for completely f***ing up the two-minute silence!”

However someone else defended the show, writing: “It wasn’t the fault of This Morning or Phil or Holly that the man from Belfast spoke during the two-minute silence. The Belfast clock must be slightly out!”
Meanwhile, other viewers weren’t happy that SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton said it was “disrespectful” to not wear a poppy around Remembrance Day.
One tweeted: “Get lost Ant. It is not disrespectful if someone doesn’t want to wear the poppy. We have freedoms.”
Another said: “No one ever should be made to do anything.”
And a third wrote: “How is it disrespectful not wearing a poppy? You can remember and be respectful without wearing one.”
While someone else added: “He’s not even wearing his poppy correctly. Leaf is at 11 o’clock.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
