A Place In The Sun host Laura Hamilton has taken to social media to speak out about “unacceptable” behaviour at her London restaurant while on a brief break from filming the Channel 4 series in Greece.
The 38-year-old television star, who also runs her own coffee shop and deli in London, took to Instagram to talk about the matter, which led to a customer being banned.
Laura, who regularly documents her work and home life on social media, addressed her 90,000 followers in a video shared on her Instagram Stories this morning.
The blonde beauty looked radiant in a white dress which highlighted her golden tan as she spoke to the camera.
Sitting in a pretty cafe in Khania, the mum of two spoke about her independent restaurant and coffee shop Lord Roberts on the Green, which she runs with her husband Alex Goward.

Laura began: “We are at our fourth property at the moment, which is the property the house-hunters look at on their own.
“Which means I’m having a nice coffee and enjoying this pretty Greek village.”
She continued: “I’m catching up on all things Lord Roberts on the Green, and I couldn’t believe it, yesterday, I had some reports from the team back home… and some of them were so upset with how they had been treated by some of our customers.
“Brought them to tears in fact.”
Former Dancing On Ice contestant Laura added: “I’ve read a few things online about this Eat Out To Help Out scheme, and that people are just treating restaurant staff and coffee shop staff in a really unacceptable way.”

“We took the decision to actually ban a customer from the shop.”
“Do you know what, there is no need for it, everyone is trying to do their best, and I think people need to remember that and to be kind.
“So I will support our team through and through.”
The Eat Out To Help Out scheme sees diners receive up to 50 per cent discount on their food and non-alcoholic drink bill at participating restaurants on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August.

A couple on A Place In The Sun got the show trending earlier last week after they appeared to shut host Laura Hamilton down when she told them the property they wanted might not be realistic on their budget.
While some viewers thought Sarah and Simon from Gloucestershire, who wanted a two-bedroom property in Corralejo in Fuertaventura, complete with sea views and a pool for less than £200,000, were a bit blunt, Laura remembers the experience differently.
Laura told the couple: “Just to let you know, a couple of months ago, a frontline two-bedroom apartment with spectacular views sold for over £300,000.
“I’ll show you the best options but I do need you to be realistic.,” Simon responded:
“What we’re talking about is our ideal property and we recognise we would have to have compromises.
“Then we’ll have to decide which ones we want and which we don’t.’ Sarah added:
“If it was easy, we would have found it ourselves. We wouldn’t have needed your help.”
Laura has since revealed that Simon and Sarah were not as difficult as it came across on the show.
