Outpoken businessman Lord Alan Sugar is not a fan of people working from home.
The Apprentice boss recently told how all of his employees are already back in his Amshold Group offices in Loughton, Essex, after the coronavirus lockdown was eased.
Despite workers being able to carry out the same amount of work remotely, Lord Sugar, 73, encouraged the government to ensure that all workers return to their rightful workplace.
Putting pen to paper for his column in The Sun, the businessman said that his employees “want to be back at work” before tearing into Boris Johnson’s government.

Alan wrote: “My people want to be at work, they enjoy talking to their friends and colleagues to discuss what’s going on with the football, what’s on [the] telly, who’s going to win The Apprentice — all that type of stuff.
“I do believe that an air of complacency has been created during this emergency.”
The bullish businessman later went on to claim that the streets of the City of London were similar to “a morgue”.
He added: “The Government needs to say: ‘Get your ar*es back in there now’.

“Same with local councils. Big business isn’t helping either.”
The east London native went on to say that even if people are able to work from home, they shouldn’t as the “economy and our kids’ futures depend on it.”
He later slammed banking bosses who are continuing to allow their employees to work from home.

“You’ve got big banks and City organisations like NatWest who told 50,000 staff they can work from home until next year,” he wrote.
“It’s a disaster, a crying shame for the poor traders there like the retail shops, bars and restaurants that depend on these workers. They are in real trouble,” he added.
Alan’s blistering attack comes after London’s West End is said to face losses of £10 billion per year with 50,000 jobs being axed.
