Alesha Dixon leaves Loose Women fans gobsmacked by dropping baby bombshell

Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon appeared on Loose Women this afternoon, following the publication of her brand-new children’s book.

Alesha, 42, wrote her fifth book Star Switch earlier this year, somehow finding the time between her many TV presenting gigs and life as a mum.

The BGT star gave birth to her second child, daughter Anaya Safiya Ononye, six months ago.

Chatting with Loose Women panellists Carol McGiffin, Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams and Stacey Solomon, Alesha revealed the pressure is on to have a third child.

According to Carol, Alesha’s oldest daughter – Azura Sienna Ononye – has been wondering when another baby will come along.

She asked: “Isn’t she hassling you for another one?”

Nodding her head, Alesha agreed: “She has good and bad days.

“Some days she says ‘no,’ and some days she says ‘okay time for another one now’.”

She joked: “Let’s just settle with this one now!”

Alesha, who rose to fame as part of rap-trio Mis-Teeq, confessed her biological clock raises the stakes when it comes to having another child.

She said: “I try not to look at it like that, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it is something I didn’t think about it.

“I don’t know if I want to be too old before I have another one.”

Teasing another bundle of joy, Kaye asked: “So another one is on the agenda?”

Alesha remained tightlipped, but with a busy schedule ahead, the mum-of-two likely has enough on her plate.

This Saturday will see the finale of The Greatest Dancer on BBC One, bringing the best of British dancers together for a final dance-off.

On top of that, filming is already underway for the brand-new season of Britain’s Got Talent, with judges Alesha, Amanda Holden , David Walliams and Simon Cowell rating the nation’s performances.

Though the launch date for the new series has yet to be announced, it typically airs in early April.

Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
