Amanda Holden has opened up about how her new song, With You, is about her stillborn son Theo, who died in 2011.
Back in 2018, Amanda, 49, recorded a song for her husband Chris Hughes for their anniversary with their two daughters.
Ahead of that, the Britain’s Got Talent judge’s first single is released, and Amanda has opened up about how little Theo inspired it.
She said: “The last lines of this song are ‘You took my life with you, Took my world with you’ and so this is for Theo, our baby who was born sleeping and for Chris who stayed strong when I fell apart.

“It was Chris who told me he always thought of Theo when he heard this song which floored me so it’s also his song for Theo.
“It’s very emotional to sing this song but I think you get chosen for experiences like that only if you are strong enough to deal with it. And it changes you.
“It is also Simon Cowell ‘s favourite song.”

It was reported that Amanda was in the middle of a £1million bidding war between Warner, Sony and Universal before Virgin EMI signed her.
The musical interested was sparked by a clip of Amanda with her two daughters Hollie, eight, and Alexa, 14, singing The Greatest Showman hit Tightrope.
In December last year, she shared a cute snap of herself with husband Chris in a recording studio.
She wrote in the caption: “My Lub he’s been there for me every step of the way.”
Amanda also confirmed that the album would be coming in 2020 – and now it’s just weeks away from release.
In May this year, her debut single Over the Rainbow topped the iTunes chart.
Songs From The Heart is released October 2
