Amanda Holden has recalled her horror when she came home from a party at Simon Cowell’s to discover her babysitter had left her kids unattended.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 49, told the story as she appeared on Sunday Brunch and recalled how it was the night of Simon’s 50th birthday bash nearly 10 years ago.
While she was at the party, almost 10 years ago, Amanda said how she hired a babysitter to look after her then toddler Lexi.
But while partying it up at the £1million bash, the judge was unaware that the babysitter had thought they’d returned and left.

The Heart FM presenter said on the Channel 4 show: “It was about 10 years ago now – [Simon’s] getting on.
“We stayed there all night, and in the morning when we got home the woman looking after our kids thought we’d got home, and had left.
“It was seven o’clock in the morning and we walked into the house and no-one was looking after our children.
“Can you imagine? She was fired, can I say. It was a great party, with a horrific ending.”
Amanda recalled how Lexi, who is now 14, was fine at the time but she was still fuming.
She said how the then toddler was “fine, obviously” but added: “But that was the scariest thing ever.”
The star then went on to describe what Simon’s pricey 50th at Wrotham Park, Hertfordshire, was like.

She said: “As we drove up in the car, there was no doubting where the party was. His face had been projected on to the building.”
Amanda continued: “Some people have gateposts with balloons saying ‘party this way’ – his face was on the building.”
The menu included Simon’s name in alphabet spaghetti and a baroque-themed marquee had ceilings featuring mock Michelangelo artwork with his face on it.
And waiters even wore masks of Simon’s face at the opulent bash.
Amanda and husband Chris Hughes joined guests including former X Factor judges Cheryl Cole, Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue at the bash.
