The Britain’s Got Talent judge has opened up about her concerns over the coronavirus lockdown coming to an end.
Amanda Holden admitted she’s “terrified” as to what life will be like when everyone goes back to their normal daily routines.
Speaking about her life during the lockdown with her hubby and children, Amanda admitted she’d gotten used to a more quiet and a laid-back way of life.
Amanda told Heart FM co-host Jamie Theakston that she was loving having the quality time with husband Christ Hughes and daughters Lexi, 14, and Holly, eight.
Sharing her worries about life going back to normal, Amanda explained: “I don’t want to go back.
“I’m actually so scared to go back to the real world. I’m terrified.”
She also divulged that despite being stuck at home, she has been seeing more of her friends than ever before thanks to Zoom.
Amanda said: “I’ve never seen so much of my friends. I see them more now than I ever did in reality. Zoom and FaceTime has honestly been changing people’s lives lately.
“And you know what the worst thing is? We could all be drinking over video call on a Friday night and I still wake up with a hangover on Saturday morning. How is that fair?”.
Amanda’s candid chat comes after pal Piers Morgan cheekily ribbed her with a surgery jibe.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain yesterday, she said: “I feel I have a lot in common with him Susanna because he was 99 when he released his first single, I’m 49, so I’m technically an old lady as well.”
Susanna said: “Oi, I’m 49 we’re not old ladies.”
Piers then made a cheeky surgery comment saying: “You haven’t had a good a surgeon…”
Amanda has been open in the past about her Botox use.
