Amanda Holden ‘s daughter Hollie, eight, got herself into a bit of bother with her mum today after an awkward slip-up on an Instagram live stream.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda was on the social media site talking about her blossoming singing career, when she mentioned her pal Simon Cowell.
The 47-year-old was explaining to her fans how she had played her NHS charity single for the music mogul and he had invited her to perform on the Britain’s Got Talent live shows.
She added that Simon’s partner Lauren Silverman, 42, had recently sent her some photos of Simon, 60, cooking during lockdown.

But at the mention of Simon, Amanda’s daughter Hollie unexpectedly spoke up and asked: “I thought they broke up?”
Amanda quickly replied: “Don’t be stupid.”
However it seems Hollie made a simple mistake, as a spokesperson for Simon told MailOnline: “Simon and Lauren are very much still together and are in lockdown together in California.”
Meanwhile, a source added to The Sun Online: “This was just a case of a kid being a kid; getting muddled up and getting things completely wrong.”

Amanda told Daily Star Online: “I can’t believe there is even an article about what my 8 year old daughter said. Hollie last saw Lauren when she was about to board a plane back to America during BGT auditions to go and visit her eldest son and so I can only presume that’s what made her – incorrectly – think it. In reality, Lauren and I have even been exchanging photos of our families in lockdown. And Simon’s even learned how to cook!”
Amanda had been saying to her 1.4million followers: “I did play the album to Simon because Simon was very kind and he invited me to come and sing on Britain’s Got Talent live shows, which I still will do whenever that is.
“But I thought I’ll take it round and have a cup of tea and see what he thinks.
“I don’t know why I did that – it was one of the most nerve-wracking things I have ever done in the whole of my life.
“It was like the opening night of a West End show.”
Simon and Lauren have been in a relationship since 2013 and they have one son together, Eric, six.
Recently, the happy family have been seen running errands together in California.
