A body has been found at Lake Piru in California where Naya Rivera was reported missing.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Department tweeted today that a body had been found.
The account posted: “Happening now: A body has been found at Lake Piru this morning. The recovery is in progress. A news conference will take place at 2 pm at the lake.”
It has not been confirmed if it is the body of missing Glee star Naya Rivera.

Naya was reported missing last Wednesday after taking a boat out with her son on Lake Piru in California.
An alarm was raised when her sleeping four-year-old son was spotted unattended on the boat by another water vessel.
A search has been underway for the missing Glee star ever since.

Naya was last spotted getting onto the pontoon boat with son Josey at 1pm on Wednesday.
Josey told police at the time that his mother had “jumped into the water but had not come back up,” according to TMZ.
Naya has been “presumed drowned” since last Wednesday’s disappearance.
The news of a body being recovered comes as police recently advised for fans of the missing Glee star to not take part in the search for her.
An extensive search of the lake has been undertaken, which has involved divers, cadaver dogs and sonar to scan the bottom of the lake, which has poor visibility and in some places is 100 feet (30 metres) deep.
Police tweeted: “For those intent on searching for Naya Rivera on your own, 1. The lake is closed. 2. Temps are already in the 90’s. 3. The terrain around the lake is very steep and rugged.
“Our teams are well equipped and highly trained. We don’t want to have to rescue you.”
Actress Heather Morris, who was one of Naya’s co-stars on Glee, tweeted that she was trying to conduct an “on-foot search”.
Taking to social media at the end of last week, Ventura Co. Sheriff wrote: “Today’s search operation at Lake Piru is winding down. The mission will resume Sunday morning in the ongoing effort to locate Naya Rivera.”
The actress replied: “My name is Heather Morris, I’m Naya’s close friend and co-worker, and I’m trying to conduct an on foot search and rescue mission along with a small group of friends at Lake Piru.
“I understand your team is doing EVERYTHING in their power, but we are feeling helpless, powerless and want to help in any way. I have left a message with the Department of Rescue and Air today, and I will call again tomorrow. Thank you.”
