The new Borat film has been blasted over a scene mocking abortion.
The comedy character, played by actor Sacha Baron Cohen, sees his on-screen daughter scoff a cupcake which has an edible model baby on top.
The pair then visit Carolina Women’s Health Center in the US and discuss “taking the baby out” with a shocked pro-life pastor.
The controversial “I swallowed the baby” clip in Borat 2 was posted online earlier this week amassing tens of thousands of viewers ahead of the movie’s big release on Amazon Prime Video tomorrow (FRI).
And the UK Right To Life charity, which campaigns on issues around abortion, assisted suicide and embryo research, attached the jokey clip, saying “there is no humour or laughter to see in abortion.”

The group’s spokesperson Catherine Robinson said: “It is a national tragedy that 109,836 lives were lost to abortion between January and June 2020.
“Every one of these abortions represents a failure of our society to protect the lives of babies in the womb and a failure to offer full support to women with unplanned pregnancies.
“For a significant number of these women, the end of their pregnancy would have been deeply traumatic.
“To laugh at such loss: loss of life and loss of hope would downplay the painful trauma experienced by many women.

“Thankfully, most people recognise, whether pro-life or pro-abortion, that there is nothing funny about abortion.”
The film, which has a full title of Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan, sees actor Sacha, 49, play pranks on unsuspecting people in the US.
But The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children believes “the sketch shows a discussion over a misunderstood premise.”
The pro-life group’s deputy CEO John Deighan added: “In this case, when it comes to abortion we believe that most people don’t realise we are actually dealing with a genuine living human being about to lose their life.

“That’s a misunderstood premise we would like to correct”.
The secretly-filmed follow-up to Sacha’s 2006 hit sees the iconic Kazakh journalist on a mission to ‘save 2020’’.
But working on the project wasn’t all fun and games for the filmmaker, who said he feared for his life at one point while filming during lockdown.
He said: “While filming my latest Borat film, I showed up as a right-wing singer at a gun-rights rally in Washington State.

“When organisers finally stormed the stage, I rushed to a nearby get-away vehicle.
“An angry crowd blocked our way and started pounding on the vehicle with their fists.
“Under my overalls, I was wearing a bulletproof vest, but it felt inadequate with some people outside toting semiautomatic weapons.”
Hollywood actor Seth Rogan reckons the controversial movie is going to be a huge hit with Borat fans after watching an early copy six times.
He said: “It’s crazy and wonderful and couldn’t be more timely.
“‘It also has a few of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in a movie.
“I’m excited for you to see it.”
Amazon Prime Video was approached for comment.
