Brits need to work 32 years to make what Kylie Jenner gets from one Insta post

Brits need to work an average of 32 years to make what Kylie Jenner gets from one Instagram post.

Kylie, 22, earns £975,000 per post on social media.

With the average British salary now £30,000, it would take the everyday worker over three decades to rake in that kind of cash.

The second highest paid influencer on the social media platform is singer Ariana Grande, who can earn up to £765,000 for one Instagram post.

Nurses, whose 12-hour shifts keep the NHS going, earn an average yearly salary of £35,513 which would mean they would have to work for more that 21 years to come close to making that kind of cash.

And it is not just A-list Hollywood stars who can command the big payouts.

Last year’s Love Island contestant Molly-Mae Hague, who has over 3.7million Instagram followers, can get £13,658 from a single sponsored post.

Andrew Hunter, from job hunt site Adzuna said: “These findings emphasise that social media is an incredibly profitable business and one that many people might be aiming to break into.”

But he added that even though it seems easy, becoming a wealthy social media influencer takes “a lot of hard work”.
