Caitlyn Jenner's pal speaks out after Kris came under fire for 'cruel' post

Kris Jenner left her fans somewhat disappointed after she chose not to include Caitlyn Jenner in her original celebratory Father’s Day post.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians superstar shared a collage of snaps to celebrate all the dads in her life as the world celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Kris’ ex-partner, Caitlyn Jenner, who she shares Kendall and Kylie Jenner with, was not included.

After fans slammed the Kardashian matriarch, she quickly deleted her post before re-uploading it and including the Olympic decathlon icon in her post.

Despite Kris being slammed by fans, Caitlyn was reportedly un-phased by the decision.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, a source close to the 70-year-old legend revealed that despite initially having a turbulent relationship, Kris and Cait are in a good place.

The insider said: “Caitlyn is super happy with where her relationship is with Kris Jenner.

“Their marriage lasted 23 years and are on great terms, for the sake of their children.”

Speaking about the criticism Kris faced for her Instagram post, our source added: “Cait thinks the criticism on Kris for the post on Sunday is ridiculous – Cait is in the post!”

Kris’ updated post saw the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star posing alongside their daughters Kendall and Kylie in an adorable snap.

Cait seemed to be touched with Kris’ post, re-sharing on her Instagram Stories with the caption: “So blessed and love all of these members of my family so much.”

Caitlyn came out as transgender in an emotional interview with US broadcaster Diane Sawyer in 2015.

She later revealed her identity on the cover of Vanity Fair, captioned: “Call me Caitlyn,” sending shockwaves across the world.

Despite initially having a fall out with Kim Kardashian-West, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian following her tell-all autobiography, which came shortly after the interview, Cait is now on good terms with her step-children.
