In November last year, however, she admitted that she does receive criticism on social media about her outfits.
She revealed on the ITV show This Morning that she was subjected to an array of ageist comments after wearing a short strapless frock to the BAFTAs in 2000, with some haters referring to her as “mutton dressed as lamb.”

When asked when she had experienced ageism, Carol explained: “Most of my life, let’s be fair. Twenty years ago I wore a blue dress to the BAFTAs which was above the knee, I was 39.
“That became a massive story, programmes were made about it.”
Carol made headlines recently when she sent her followers into meltdown showing off her famous hourglass figure in a skintight dress.

She looked as breathtaking as ever as she filmed the second instalment of her new BBC show The Great Indoors.
Sharing the sexy snap with her 440,000 Twitter followers, she uploaded a gorgeous snap of herself in a plunging bright yellow pencil dress.
Speaking about her sense of style in a 2014 interview with Hello! Magazine, Carol said: “Show off the good and don’t stress about the bits you don’t like so much, because that is just a waste of time.”

Before adding: “If you want to wear a miniskirt, you go girl! Just do it. I wouldn’t wear a miniskirt now because my legs aren’t what they used to be ten years ago, but it’s whatever you’re psychologically comfortable with.
“Just make sure you don’t push the boundary with what you wear just because that’s what fashion dictates.”
