Cat Deeley walks off This Morning as Phillip and Holly revisit old SMTV footage

Television presenter Cat Deeley jokingly stormed off This Morning on Tuesday as footage from her SMTV Live days resurfaced.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were back on our screens today to present the latest edition of the ITV daytime show.

Cat, 43, appeared on the programme via a video link from her home in North London to discuss her latest children’s book The Joy in You.

Conservation quickly turned her time presenting SMTV alongside Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in the 2000s.

However, things took an awkward turn when Phillip and Holly showed her a throwback clip of her presenting the children’s show.

Not being able to cope watching herself back on camera, Cat got up off her seat and walked out of shot.

Phillip and Holly welcomed viewers back from an advert break and gave fans an update on what was to come up on the show.

When they introduced Cat’s interview, an old clip of her on SM:TV Live played onscreen, prompting a horrified response from the So You Think You Can Dance presenter.

As mother of two Cat squirmed at the sight of the video, Phil, 58, said: “We’ve got the whole thing!”

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Cat Deeley, blimey I’ve not seen her in years.”

While a fourth agreed: “Just saw Cat Deeley on the telly for the first time in ages.”

Cat confirmed she has filmed a special SMTV documentary with Ant and Dec to celebrate the Geordie duo’s 30 years on telly.

The TV star has recently left sunny California to move back to the Uk with her husband Patrick Kielty and their two sons, Milo, four and James, two.

Cat told Phillip and Holly that her and Patrick decided to move back to London so Milo could start school in the UK, while she’s glad the kids will now be able to spend more time with their grandparents.
