Catherine Zeta-Jones, 50, oozes sex appeal in sizzling red bikini throwback clip

Ageless beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared a throwback clip of her donning a red bikini from 1991 series The Darling Buds of May – and fans love it.

The 50-year-old Hollywood actress took to Instagram earlier this week as she reflected on the “simpler” life.

The video shows Catherine walking onto a beach with her co-star David Jason.

Her toned physique and sculpted legs are fully on show in a sultry red two-piece.

When she spots the water, she strips off and runs straight to it.

The actress would have been just 20 at the time – way before she became an Oscar-winning actress and married Hollywood icon Michael Douglas.

She shared the clip two days ago with the caption: “Oh those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.

“’The Darling Buds of May’ an innocent, simple life.”

It has since garnered more than 76,000 views, with viewers gushing over the young Catherine in the comments section.

“OMG so gorgeous I feel like doing that now,” one wrote.

Another commented: “I absolutely loved Darling buds.”

A third added: “Loved this show and you were a beautiful proper dark-haired Welsh beauty Catherine. And you still are.”

The show was aired years before Catherine made her name as an Oscar-winning actress

And a fourth said: “You have the same looks then as you do now!”

The series – which got its title from the third line of Shakespeare’s sonnet 18 – was set in rural 1950s Kent.

It revolved around the Larkin family – David Jason as “Pop” Larkin, Pam Ferris as “Ma” Larkin and Catherine as their daughter Mariette.

The actress isn’t the only celebrity to have shared some red-hot throwback snaps recently.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara recently delved into the archived to post a sizzling video.
