This Morning fans were surprised to discover beloved CBBC star Michael Underwood has ditched his TV career to become a teacher.
The 44-year-old appeared on the show along with his wife Angellica Bell, promoting their new 500 Words writing competition, themed around the Black Lives Matter movement.
Michael came on the show via video call, announcing to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that he was in the middle of teaching a class.

The former Dancing on Ice star said that once his TV jobs became less frequent, he decided he would return to his original calling.
He said: “A couple of years ago, work was quiet, and Angellica was flying in her career, and its a decision you have to think ‘well actually am I going to sit at home and wait for the phone to ring? Or am I going to be proactive.’”
Michael added: “I started to think about using the skillset that I’ve developed over the years and put it into something like teaching. I decided to go for it.
