Good Morning Britain host Charlotte Hawkins revealed to viewers at home that a wardrobe malfunction nearly left her “half-undressed” as the show starting airing.
Charlotte, 45, has stepped in to replace Kate Garraway, 53, who is taking a break from the show to help look after her husband Derek, who is recovering from coronavirus.
Poor Charlotte has suffered a number of wardrobe blunders, including her presenting the show with odd shoes on her feet last week.
Now the social distancing rules at the studios nearly left her half un-dressed as she struggled to get ready in the time for the start of the show at 6am.
The show started with Adil looking under the desk as Charlotte asked: “Is this going to be the usual start every time we work together?”
She continued: “Just because of one small mistake I made.”
Adil said: “I am just helping out here. Just ensuring that Charlotte Hawkins has the right pair of shoes on.”

Showing a photo of Charlotte wearing two different pink high heels from last week, Adil joked: “That’s a piece of art now.”
Charlotte replied: “I tried on three different pairs of shoes one day and forgot to change into a matching pair and not lived it down since.
“Just goes to show that without a stylist on hand we can literally not dress ourselves.”
She revealed things had gone even worse this morning, telling viewers: “I couldn’t get my zip done and I was literally half-dressed this morning,” adding that it took “a bit of wriggling” to make sure she was fully-dressed for the show.
Charlotte added: “Social distancing meant that any assistants “couldn’t get anywhere near me and I was left high and dry.
“The things we have to go through to get the programme. It’s not the hardest job in the world is it, getting your own clothes and shoes on.”
Good Morning Britain continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV
