BBC Radio One legend Chris Moyles has opened up like never before on his issues surrounding body dysmorphia and his battle to keep his weight down.
Chris who now fronts Radio X admitted that he frequently struggles to accept his body and his appearance.
The 46-year-old revealed that despite dropping from 18 stone to 12 stone, he still suffers from body dysmorphia and weight himself six times a week.
Speaking to Ross Kemp on his podcast, The Kempcast, Chris also admitted that he trains at the gym six times a week – shortly after coming off the air from his radio show.
He said: “Before lockdown Monday, Wednesday, Friday I would do the show we would have a quick meeting… and then I’d get to the gym and I’d train 11 ’till 12 or 11 ’till one depending on how fat I was feeling.
“I’m feeling really fat at the moment. I’m fascinated by body dysmorphia because I really have an issue with body dysmorphia, which I think most people do.”
He later said that he was at his “worst weight” weighing 18 stone.

“I know my body really well now, and I’m still learning and I’m lucky that I have a trainer who is a real nerd about this stuff, he’s got a very similar metabolism to me which is that of a JCB,” Chris continued.
Sharing his secrets, he went on to say: ” I will, and people don’t believe me, but I weight myself six days a week, and I know you shouldn’t and I know it’s not for everyone, but I do that so I can learn about how my body works.

“I will train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and I will watch what I eat and I’ll eat very little, I do intermittent fasting and I’ll eat at half six or seven and I’ll be fine.”
Talking about his exit from Radio One which saw him be replaced by a “younger” presenter, Nick Grimshaw, Chris sniped: “I was a bit miffed that the story that went out was that I was too old and I had got fired.
“I knew I wasn’t going to be doing that show forever.
“I thought they handled it really badly, then when [Nick’s] show failed and the listening figures fell, I was like, ‘Not that f-ing easy, is it boys?'”
He added: “Not aimed at Nick but at Radio 1 in general. The show lost a million-and-a-half almost overnight.”
