Model Chrissy Teigen has been slammed after pledging to donate more than £160k to help bail out people in the US who have been arrested for protesting against the death of unarmed black man George Floyd.
There have been riots and unrest across the country after sickening footage showed white cop Derek Chauvin kneeling on George’s neck during his arrest on Monday.
The black man later died in custody and Chauvin has been arrested and charged with murder.
Since then, there has been mass rioting and looting across US cities.
Many were arrested after violent clashes with cops but now Chrissy has said on Twitter she will donate £160,000 to help bail out those who had been arrested.

But many hit out at her, saying the cash might be better spent on businesses attacked by looters.
One said: “Guess your target line you don’t care for so why should we. Also what about helping the hundreds of minority-owned small businesses effected by these riots?”
Another person wrote: “Aww thank you Chrissy, how generous! Thank you for standing by the thugs and criminals that are looting businesses, and burning and destroying our communities while you live in your big house with your over-inflated sense of entitlement and superiority complex.”

A third added: “I hope they make it to your posh Beverly Hills pad and we will see how you like it when they burn down what you have worked for. Will you bail them out then???? Probably NOT.
“Wow, ‘celebrities’ paying money to encourage VIOLENCE and criminal behavior.”
Announcing her pledge on Twitter, Chrissy said: “In celebration of whatever the f*** maga night is, I am committed to donating $100,000 to the bail outs of protestors across the country.”
