Coronation Street star Kym Marsh to host new BBC show following soap exit

Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has announced that she will be hosting a new BBC show which will centre around consumer affairs following the coronavirus pandemic.

The 43-year-old, who left her row as Corrie’s Michelle Connor last December, confirmed the news on her official Instagram account.

Sharing a stunning photo of herself close-up, Kym announced to her 412,000 followers what the show is about.

Taking to her caption she spilled how she will be joining Mattall Wright to host the consumer affairs series, which will air on BBC1.

She wrote: “Really Excited to confirm I’ll be joining @mattallwright to present a new consumer affairs show on BBC1.

“Coronavirus has turned the world upside down with everyone facing huge challenges in their daily lives.”

Kym went on to explain the show will help on topics such as holidays, health, work and home following Covid-19.

She continued: “We’ll be talking to some of the country’s leading consumer experts to get guidance and tips on everything including holidays, health, work and home.

“Airs daily at 10am for three weeks from 15th June.”

Her fans were ecstatic about the news and rushed to the comments section to congratulate her.
