Coronation Street ‘s Carla Connor is hiding a big secret.

Corrie fans will known that Carla, played by Alison King, went missing last year as she suffered a breakdown.

However, it seems to have been resolved now with Carla back on the cobbles and happy with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne).

But Corrie boss Iain MacLeod has revealed that this plot will be surprisingly revisited later this year.

The show is planning a new revelation over what happened during Carla’s time away.

But what is it?

McLeod said: “We will find out something about Carla’s lost weekend, where she went missing during her mental health story.

“Ultimately, [Carla and Peter] will navigate that as they love each other, and this thing occurred during a time when Carla wasn’t in possession of her mental health.”
