Katie Hopkins has been slated by Twitter users after she posted some advice as coronavirus fears continue.
The media personality, 45, who is well know for her controversial opinions, took to Twitter to share her thoughts about how to deal with COVID-19.
Katie shared her advice with her 1m followers on Twitter.
In her post, she likened the virus to chickenpox: “Breaking news for the youth.
“As mums, we had chickenpox parties for young kids. So that one toddler with chickenpox might give it to others in order to build their immunity and get it over with.
“Trust in your strength.”

The Celebrity Big Brother star finished her post by hash-tagging “coronavirus”.
Her followers rushed to comment on her post, shocked at her ‘irresponsible’ advice in light of the virus.
One said: “What shocking advice. The point of it all is to slow the rate of infections so our health services can cope with it all. Don’t actively encourage people to spread it! Kids will be fine thankfully but others wont be.”

While another wrote: “I have no words for this women and her ideologies anymore! In fact, the only reason I follow her is to make myself angry! This is by far the dumbest tweet I’ve seen her post. We don’t need any input from you Katie! Just stop.”
A third tweeted: “I respect some if the things you say but that is pure stupidity!”
“Ridiculous thing to say when it is killing people across the globe,” added a fourth angry Twitter user.
