With coronavirus fears dominating the globe at the moment, disco diva Gloria Gaynor has sent fans wild with a lighthearted hand-washing challenge to her hit track I Will Survive.
The TikTok challenge is currently storming the internet as many jump on the bandwagon to join Gloria to wash their hands while singing her statement track.
With COVID-19 still continuing to spread at a rapid rate across the world and the death toll continuing to rise, the challenge is sending needed positivity – and good habits – across social media.
The ingenious act is luring TikTok fans to their sinks to wash their hands while lip-syncing along to I Will Survive, which will surely keep health officials happy.

Gloria Gaynor, 70, the original soul queen, is helping to stop the virus spreading as best as she can as many jump on the bandwagon to join in with challenge.
Showing the globe that safety is paramount, she lathered up her hands with plenty of soap as she sang for 20 seconds while thoroughly washing her hands.
It didn’t take long for the clip of the legendary songstress to take the internet by storm and within just a few hours her post had racked up well over 281,000 likes on Instagram.
She captioned the snippet: “It only takes 20 seconds to ‘survive’!” along with hashtags, “Wash Your Hands” and “I Will Survive Challenge”.
Fans were absolutely elated with the positive vibes that Gloria was sending at this critical time.
One person said: “Yes absolutely love this challenge.”
Another added: “Yes! I will survive too.”
A third chimed: “The best challenge out there – well done.”
While a forth told Gloria: “I’ve washed my hands.”

According to Public Health England, washing hands thoroughly with soap “is the single most important thing that an individual can do” to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Health officials warn the public should wash their hands regularly for at least 20 seconds each time, using soap and water or hand sanitiser if on the go.
Even if Gloria’s TikTok clip is in the spirit of fun, it seems to be working and aiding with encouraging many to follow guidance from health professionals.
