Corrie fans baffled by Kevin Webster 'continuity error' in Abi Franklin scene

Coronation Street viewers pointed out a continuity error on tonight’s episode, as they noticed Kevin Webster had gained a healthy tan.

The garage owner, played by Michael Le Vell, has spent the last few months in Weatherfield, enjoying the temperamental British weather.

However, certain Corrie fans suspected he had suddenly caught a golden tan out of the blue, as they took to their keyboards to debate.

One said: “Catching up on #Corrie and loving the lockdown continuity. Kevin’s got a tan and a new beard and in the next scene it’s all gone!”

“Kev’s got a good old tan him,” added a second.

And a third added: “Has Kevin got a tan?”

Certain scenes have been filmed post-lockdown, meaning the cast have undergone subtle transformations, from new facial hair to sun-kissed skin.

Tonight’s episode saw Kevin and Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) take their blossoming relationship to heartwarming new heights, as he asked her to move in with him.

After Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) confronted her hours earlier, accusing her of being a bad mother, Abi sought comfort from Kevin and his son Jack.

Realising Abi was a positive influence on Jack, he tentatively asked: “I was going to ask you to move in…”

Concerned for Kevin’s young son, Abi answered: “What about Jack, should we talk to him about it?”

Abi accepted Kevin’s offer, taking their relationship to the next level

Suddenly, Jack burst into the room, confessing to eavesdropping behind closed doors.

Giving his seal of approval, he replied: “Cool with me!

“You should definitely move in with us. You should have begged her ages ago.”

Delighted, Kevin asked Abi: “Is that a yes then?”

Nodding her head, she agreed, marking a new chapter in their relationship.

How will Seb take this sudden change in living arrangements?
